Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Zura Construction, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make our website more usable and accessible to as broad an audience as possible.
1. Our Commitment
We believe that the Internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. To accomplish this, we aim to adhere as closely as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
2. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Three levels of conformance are defined: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to bring all areas into full conformance.
3. Accessibility Features Provided
The following features are available on our website to improve accessibility:
- Accessibility widget: a floating accessibility-preferences panel that allows you to adjust font size, contrast, link visibility, motion reduction, reading guide, text-to-speech, and other display preferences. Your selections are stored locally on your device.
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements are reachable and operable using only a keyboard. Skip-to-main-content links and focus indicators are provided.
- Screen reader compatibility: we use semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and descriptive labels to support common screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver).
- Text alternatives: meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers can skip them.
- Color contrast: we aim to maintain a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text and meaningful graphics, per WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Responsive design: the website adapts to various screen sizes and orientations and supports zoom to 200% without loss of functionality.
- Reduced motion: we respect the prefers-reduced-motion operating-system setting, suppressing or reducing decorative animations and auto-scrolling when that setting is enabled.
- Form labels and error messages: form fields have associated labels, required-field indicators, and error messages that are announced to assistive technology.
4. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following:
- Recent versions of major browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge
- Operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and ZoomText, in their current versions
The website may not display optimally in older or unsupported browsers, including Internet Explorer.
5. Technical Specifications
Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies:
- HTML5
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
6. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be limitations. We are aware of and actively working to address the following:
- Some third-party content (such as embedded maps, video players, or PDFs supplied by third parties) may not meet the same accessibility standards as the rest of the site.
- Some legacy content (such as older project photographs and scanned documents) may lack complete alternative text or transcripts. We are progressively updating this content.
- Some interactive elements (such as the project explorer and brand carousel) rely on JavaScript; if JavaScript is disabled, these elements will display in a static, accessible fallback form.
If you encounter any other accessibility barrier on our website, please let us know using the contact information below.
7. Assessment and Approach
Zura Construction, LLC assesses the accessibility of the website by the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation: the website was evaluated internally during development against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.
- External tools: we use automated accessibility-testing tools (such as Lighthouse, WAVE, and axe-core) during development and as part of regular maintenance.
- Manual testing: we conduct keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader testing, and zoom testing on key user paths.
- User feedback: we welcome and review reports from users of assistive technology.
8. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, or you would like to request information in an alternative format, please let us know:
